Prayer for moving forward

Dear God,

I am afraid of what my future holds.
The unsureness of what the changes
in my life are bringing,
sometimes fills me with doubt and fear.
There are so many things that have become
confused in my mind,
as I have turned my back on my true nature,
and run from You.
Please dear Lord,
let me not fall into the arrogance of thinking,
I am above any experience that has been brought into my life.
Instead, please give me the understanding
of what it is I am meant to learn,
and the faith to know,
all things are exactly as they are meant to be.
Help me to see each child as my teacher,
and to remember that Your love
is present in each one.
Please help me to strengthen my resolve
to walk the path of my heart;
And in doing so,
Meet all of the responsibilities
that belong to me.
Please Lord,

Amen.

Prayer for reliving the past

Dear God,

I am afraid of reliving my past.
Please help me to remember,
that I have grown and changed.
I have had many wonderful experiences
in my life,
that have shown me a glimpse
of my true Self.
There is a part of me,
I have found,
that is strong and at peace.
Which gives love freely,
and sees the good in all things.
Please dear Lord,
help me to remember.
Show me what I have to do to remember You,
in everyone and everything.

Thank You
Amen.
